Masters for Blu-ray replication must be submitted in Cutting Master Format (BDCMF or Sony CMF) on removable USB 2.0 hard drives formatted for Windows or submitted as BDCMF or Sony CMF image on BD-R. (Playable BD-Rs are not acceptable for Blu-ray replication.)

High Definition Video or HD Video is a video format with a resolution of 1920x1080 or 1080p lines of horizontal resolution.
For orders of Blu-ray replication in the Midwest, the minimum order quantity is 500.
Blu-ray replication is often referred to as "pressed" discs. The discs are created through an injection molding process where the data is actually part of the physical discs. Duplication is often referred to as "burned" discs. The data is burnt to the surface of the recordable disc.
As with DVD, this depends on the decisions on the usage of video bandwidth, the number of audio tracks and other criteria made by the author of the disc. And the choice codec used also influences playback time. On average, a single-layer disc can hold a High Definition feature of 135 minutes using MPEG-2, with additional room for 2 hours of bonus material in standard definition quality. A double-layer disc even extends these numbers up to 3 hours in HD quality and 9 hours of SD bonus material.
The difference is the amount of information that the disc can hold. A BD-25 is a single layer disc and can hold 25 gigs of High Definition Video. A BD-50 is a dual layer disc and can hold 50 Gigs of High Definition Video.

AACS or Advanced Access Content System, is an Anti-Piracy standard for content distribution and digital rights management. All Blu-ray replication jobs must have an ASCC certificate before replication can begin. We take care of this process for you when you submit your order. There are upfront fees involved that you can discuss with your project manager. The process was developed by a consortium that includes Disney, Intel, Microsoft, Panasonic, Warner Bros., IBM, Toshiba and Sony.

We print all traditional BluRay packaging products; BD case wraps, BD case inserts, BD wallets, BD DigiPaks, BD turned edge slip cases as well as all types of custom BD packaging for unique, retail ready projects.
